The french alps are located in the lower right of France and are dotted with mountains.

The Alps are the portions of the Alps mountain range located in the Rhône-Alpes and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur regions.

While some of the ranges of the French Alps are entirely in France, others, such as the Mont Blanc massif, are shared with Switzerland and/or Italy.

 

The mountain range is beautiful all year round, from hiking in summer to skiing in the winter.

There are many places to go and they all have stunning scenery of land above and below!!!

hiking, skiing, snowboarding, rock-climbing, wine making, swimming in lakes and hotsprings and mountain biking.

 

There are many other things to do and it suits anybody, for example if you are  not that sportive and dont like skiing or snowboarding you can go wine tasting, this is a region for anybody!!!

 

The Towns in the French Alps which are worth a visit are: Grenoble, Chamonix, Annecy, Chambéry, Évian-les-Bains and Albertville.
